Last week’s action:
• Led Hofstra, the Colonial league’s most improved team, with 36 kills, 24 digs and a .346 hitting rate as the Pride swept Delaware 3-0 and fell to Towson 3-1.
• Scored her ninth and 10th double-doubles of the year in the two matches. Averaged 5.1 kills and 3.4 digs per set.
• Has boosted Hofstra to an 11-8 mark in her first season. The Pride finished last year at 10-24.

“Exciting but unrefined player with a lively body and sharp instincts everywhere on the court. .... Has big moments as an athletic, aggressive swinger. Especially dangerous at terminating off-target sets. .... Can transition swiftly from passing to attacking.”

Last week’s action:
• Posted 13 blocks (1.6/set) and hit at .579 precision as Georgia Tech lost to North Carolina and North Carolina State. Drilled 23 kills with one error in 38 swings.
• Ranks fifth among Atlantic Coast Conference blockers this year, scoring 1.16 blocks per set.
• An ACC star since freshman year, Stawicka ranks fourth in Georgia Tech history in career hitting percentage (.343) and sixth in career blocks (1.10 per set).
