Each Monday in the fall, one collegiate player originally reported as a recruit by AVSR is named AVSR Player of the Week for her performance in the past week and current season.

Player of the Week:Rachael Morgan

Last week’s action:
• Boosted Florida State, now 9-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, to 3-0 sweeps of Clemson and Georgia Tech. It’s the team’s best ACC start in FSU history.
• Posted eight blocks (1.3/set) and drilled 16 kills at .333 efficiency.
• Has scored 38 blocks in 29 sets during a four-week, eight-match run.
• A starter since freshman year, Morgan has been AVSR Global’s Player of the Week five times. That equals the mark of graduates Svenja Engelhardt (Univ. of the Pacific) and Izabela Kozon (Middle Tennessee State Univ.). Both now play professionally in Europe.

Last week’s action:
• Was named Lone Star Conference Player of the Week for the second time this year, then dominated again in victories over Tarleton State, Cameron and Midwestern State.
• Playing right-side hitter, Jablonska scored 57 kills (4.8/set) at .307 efficiency.
