Last week’s action:

• Led by All-America star Gluchowicz, Cowley pushed its winning streak to 50 matches, adding five last week. It's the longest current undefeated mark among all collegiate divisions.
• The Tigers won last year’s NJCAA Division II title. Their last loss was in September 2011.
• Gluchowicz, a left-hander, has been Cowley’s six-rotation leader since arriving as a freshman. She’s averaging 3.6 kills per set this year, swinging at .297 efficiency.

Last week’s action:

• Nieto Gomez led Midland over league rival Western Texas and into first place of the Western Junior College conference. Midland stands at 18-6 this year, 5-1 in the WJCAC.
• The freshman has been Midland’s top blocker and most efficient hitter all season. She’s averaging 1.1 blocks per set and hitting at .346 efficiency.
