2014 Sand Week #3:  Kiriana Hirini

Last Week’s Action:

• In UAB’s top spot, Hirini swept four matches at South Carolina’s invitational.  She paired with Bethanie Thomas to beat Oregon, Mercer, College of Charleston, and South Carolina.
• Hirini is on track to return to the national championship tournament in May.  She owns a 6-1 record this season after reaching last year’s finals.
• As an indoor player Hirini is one of Conference USA’s best middles.  She ranks among the league leaders in hitting and blocking.
