2015 Sand Week #5: Hazel Perrens

Last Week’s Action:
• At the Arizona State Challenge, Perrens and CSU Bakersfield beat New Mexico and host Arizona State, falling only to tournament champion Arizona.
• CSUB ended its season with an 11-7 dual match record and No. 20 national ranking. Perrens teamed with Kelsee Sawyer at the Roadrunners’ fourth position.
• As a beach player in high school, Perrens qualified for the Under-19 World Championships in back-to-back years. She competed in Turkey in 2009, then in Portugal in 2010.
• Perrens originally was a middle blocker as an indoor player.
