Player of the Week: September 5, 2016

Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

Fall Week #2: Ivana Didanovic

Reported to coaches in 2012 by AVSR Global.

Senior, 6'3" Middle Blocker.

Last Week:

• Didanovic led Barry from Miami to San Francisco for a winning tour of the Bay Area. The Buccaneers won three of four matches.
• Didanovic scored 32 kills and 15 blocks. Barry downed Cal State East Bay, Academy of Art and Notre Dame de Namur but fell to Dominican.
• In the past three seasons Didanovic was Barry’s top blocker and most efficient hitter. She was an instant starter as a freshman.

Last Week:  Kaur posted nine blocks in a 3-0 upset victory over Hillsdale. Gannon won four matches on Division II’s opening weekend.

Junior, 5'11" Outside Hitter.
Latest Action:  Zembyla remained UAB’s kills leader and the team’s top passer-hitter. UAB split four matches at the Samford-UAB Challenge.
