Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

Fall Week #8: Zoya Trendafilova

Senior, 5'11" Outside Hitter.

Last Week:

• Trendafilova led UMBC with 25 kills in two road wins, and the Retrievers jumped to second place in the America East Conference.
• UMBC defeated Hartford 3-2 and Massachusetts Lowell 3-0.
• Trendafilova hit at .283 efficiency in the wins. She’s at .264 for the year.
• As a junior player in Bulgaria, Trendafilova switched to middle blocker during her final season after playing outside and opposite in the past.
