Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

Fall Week #14: Liisel Nelis

Sacred Heart University.

Northeast Conference (NEC).

NCAA Division I.

Reported to coaches by AVSR Global in 2013.

Junior. 5'10" Outside Hitter.

Latest Action:

• Nelis finished the season as the top hitter in the Northeast Conference. She averaged 4.0 kills per set this year against NEC opponents.
• Nelis led Sacred Heart to a 17-10 record and second place in the NEC Championship tourney. She was a first-team all-NEC selection.
• A three-year starter, Nelis played in every set the past two seasons. She led Sacred Heart over that time in kills, digs, aces and total points.
• Before arriving in Connecticut, Nelis competed for Estonia’s national teams as a beach and indoor player.
