Player of the Week: October 1, 2018

Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

Fall Week #6: Ani Bozdeva

Coastal Carolina University

Sun Belt Conference.

NCAA Division I.

Reported to coaches by AVSR Global in 2016.

Sophomore.  6'1" Outside Hitter.

Last Week:

• After a two-week evacuation due to Hurricane Florence, Bozdeva returned to campus with the Chanticleers and posted two quick wins.
• CCU defeated Sun Belt league opponents Louisiana-Lafayette 3-1 and Louisiana-Monroe 3-0. Bozdeva scored 16 kills and 18 digs.
• Bozdeva was an immediate, six-rotation starter for Coastal Carolina this year after transferring from Eastern Arizona College.
• She powered EAC as a freshman last year to its first appearance in the junior college national finals since 2011.
