Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

Spring Week #3: Anna Budinska

Florida International University.

NCAA Division I. Master’s degree in 2015.

Current Team: VC Madrid Chamberí (Spain).

Reported to coaches by AVSR Global in 2009.

5'10" Outside Hitter/Receiver.

Last Week:

• Budinska and CV Madrid closed the regular season of Spain’s Superliga with a key win at home over CV Elche 3-2.
• The victory ensured a return to Superliga next year for CV Madrid.
• Budinska is in her fourth year as a professional player in Europe after a standout collegiate career in Florida as a beach and indoor player.
• She’s in her second year in Spain’s Superliga. Earlier she was a leader in Switzerland for VBC Val-de-Travers and in Austria for VC Tirol.
• Budinska was two-time beach champion of the Atlantic Sun league as an undergraduate at the University of North Florida.
• She won UNF’s top academic award for business undergraduates, then earned a master’s degree at Florida International University.
