2014 Week #7:  Simona Sekulova

Seton Hall University

Senior, 6'0" Outside Hitter.

Last Week’s Action:

• Seton Hall took control of the Big East Conference as Sekulova keyed two wins.
• She lifted the Pirates over Creighton, the league’s previous co-leader, with a big fifth set.
• She shined again in a four-set win over Georgetown for SHU’s 11th consecutive victory.
• Seton Hall is 7-0 in the Big East, 17-3 overall.  It’s the team’s best year since 1994.

Florida Atlantic University, Senior, 5'11" Outside/Opposite Hitter.

Last Week:  Mellupe powered FAU to another winning week in its best year since 2005.  She scored 16 kills and 13 digs as the Owls won at Charlotte 3-1.

Amy Hunter

University at Albany, Sophomore, 6'2" Outside/Opposite Hitter.
Reported to coaches in 2012 by AVSR Global.
Home:  Matua, New Zealand.
Last Week:  Hunter lifted Albany to first place in the America East Conference, drilling 36 kills in victories over Stony Brook and Hartford.
