2014 Beach Week #5:  Dagnija Medina

Last Week’s Action:

• Medina won Florida International’s Surf & Turf tourney, sweeping six matches in three days.
• She partnered with Kim Hildreth to defeat teams from Louisiana State, Florida Gulf Coast, Florida Atlantic, and host Florida International.
• Medina is two-time champion of the Atlantic Sun Conference.  She’s aiming for her third consecutive trip to the national championship pairs tournament.
• As an indoor player Medina was a four-year starting middle blocker for North Florida.
• A top student, Medina has won Atlantic Sun academic honors every year since arriving as a freshman.  She’s pursuing a master’s degree in international business.
