Spring Week #3: Zoyia Konstantopoulou
Long Beach State University.

Home: Limassol, Cyprus.
6'0" Freshman.
Indoor Positions: Opposite and Outside Hitter.

Last Week:
• The freshman moved into the top spot of Long Beach State’s lineup and won immediately. She teamed with senior Jenelle Hudson to lead the 49ers over Cal State Northridge 5-0.
• The 49ers won the beach national championship in 2013 and placed second last year.
• As an indoor player, Konstantopoulou, a left-hander, played for the women’s and junior national teams of Cyprus. She was a basketball point guard at younger ages.
• Her home club, Apollon Limassol, is a perennial power in volleyball, soccer and basketball.
