Week #14: Silvia Pertens

Last Week:

• Houston’s top freshman hitter finished the season strong, scoring 19 kills in a pair of home-and-away victories over Tulane.
• In her last four matches Pertens scored 39 kills at .231 efficiency.
• It was a resurgent season for Houston. The Cougars posted an 8-12 record in AAC matches after going winless last year at 0-20.
• Pertens competed for Estonia’s junior and women’s national teams.
• On the beach she placed ninth at the 2015 under-18 European finals.
