• As Hurricane Dorian approached, Deisa led Stetson in Boca Raton at the Florida Atlantic Invitational.
• The Hatters swept Niagara 3-1, then fell to host FAU 3-1.
• Deisa returns this season as Stetson's all-purpose leader. Against FAU and Niagara she scored 17 kills, 26 digs, six blocks and three aces.
• Deisa was an instant, six-rotation starter as a freshman at Stetson.
• Before joining the Hatters Deisa played for Latvia’s beach and indoor national teams. At Stetson she’s majoring in Digital Arts.
