• Bozdeva and CCU are nearly perfect so far this season. They have won their first six matches while dropping only two sets.
• Bozdeva is attacking at .291 efficiency. She hit .348 in the biggest test yet, a five-set victory over East Tennessee State.
• A longtime receiver-hitter, Bozdeva competed for Bulgaria’s junior national team. At CCU she’s also playing beach volleyball.
• Bozdeva was an immediate, six-rotation starter for Coastal Carolina last year after transferring from Eastern Arizona College.
• At EAC as a freshman Bozdeva powered the Gila Monsters to the junior college national championship tournament.
