2014 Sand Week #7: Hazel Perrens

Last Week’s Action:
• At the Pac-12 Invitational, Perrens scored wins over Arizona, Arizona State and Cal Poly. Top-ranked Southern California hosted the tournament in Santa Monica.
• Perrens partnered with Sara Little. They posted a 3-3 record in the tourney, falling to teams from Loyola Marymount, Arizona and host Southern California.
• As a junior beach player Perrens qualified twice for the FIVB Under-19 World Championships. She competed in Turkey in 2009, then in Portugal in 2010.
• Perrens began playing as a middle blocker indoors, then switched to libero and outside hitter.
