2015 Sand Week #6:  Jekaterina “Kate” Stepanova

Last Week’s Action:

• Stepanova led Quimper Volley 29 to a crucial playoff victory over Evreux in France’s elite women’s league.  She is Quimper’s top outside hitter in her first year with the team.
• As a collegiate player Stepanova was an All-America sand and indoor star at Florida State.
• She led Florida State to the Final Four in both sports as a senior, then transferred to Florida International for her final beach season.
• As a junior college star, Stepanova powered Missouri State University-West Plains to a second-place finish at the 2009 national championship tournament.
