Last Week:

• Alaiwan scored a match-high six blocks as Cincinnati fell in the first round of the NCAA tournament to Florida State 3-1.
• Cincinnati is among the nation’s most improved teams. The Bearcats climbed to No. 38 in this year’s RPI, up from No. 270 in 2013.
• Alaiwan has been Cincinnati’s top blocker for two years. She has averaged 1.2 blocks per set since transferring last year from Bordeaux, France.
