Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

Fall Week #9: Paula Neciporuka

Last Week:

• VCU ran its two-year winning streak in the Atlantic 10 Conference to 25 matches, with Neciporuka as a mainstay passer-hitter.
• The Rams added road wins last week at Fordham and Rhode Island.
• VCU’s last A-10 loss was in 2016, before Neciporuka arrived last year as a freshman. She’s a starter this fall after playing part-time in 2017.
• In beach volleyball Neciporuka was one of the world’s top junior players. She won the Under-18 European Championship in 2015.
• She competed indoors for Latvia’s women’s and junior national teams.
