Each Monday in the fall, one collegiate player originally reported as a recruit by AVSR is named AVSR Player of the Week for her performance of the past week and current season.

Player of the Week:Viktorija Jablonska

Last week’s action:
• Jablonska was the biggest winner of this year’s Lone Star Conference awards. She was named Offensive Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-LSC.
• Scored 20 kills at a .244 rate as TWU lost in the league quarterfinals to Tarleton State 3-1.
• Totalled 445 kills for the season, averaging 3.84 kills per set at .296 efficiency.
• Four times this year Jablonska was named Lone Star Conference Player of the Week.

“A mature and unusually versatile player. .... Can set and/or play RH for a Top 40 Division I team. .... Routinely plays LH, MB and RH within the same match on her club team.”

Last week’s action:
• Hit .412 as UNF clinched a spot in this week’s Atlantic Sun championship tourney. Pantovic scored 18 kills and five blocks in a win over Stetson 3-1 and a loss to Florida Gulf Coast 3-2.
• Switched to right-side hitter this season after two years at middle blocker. Pantovic ranks #2 among the Ospreys in hitting efficiency (.226) and blocking (.74 blocks/set).
• Marija’s brother, Goran Pantovic, is a sophomore basketball player at Drexel University.
